We seem to have a very style savvy neighborhood here, so I want to cast my vote for Mindee at Ellesentrix. I have never been happier with a haircut or a stylist than I am with her. I finally have a wash and wear style. She also showed me how to easily tame what had always been a head full of frizz, and with no effort at all. She will give you all the care of a Newbury Street stylist and a wash, cut and blow dry runs about $35.

Mickey Lam, the owner of Ellesentrix, has been cutting my hair for nearly 15 years. I first got a haircut from her when she was working for Regis at the Framingham mall. She opened up this store a few years later and has continued to excel with her quality of cuts! The place is a funky little joint in a very modern decor. There is an awfully comfortable couch up front, which i've fallen asleep in many times. Mickey is a master hair designer and, in addition to doing great cuts/colours, is also remarkably good at repairing bad colours from other places. As a result, while I live in Washington DC, I try to coordinate trips to Boston around when I need a haircut!

I can't remember being happier with a stylist. Right here in Nobscot Village you can get the style and attention to detail I used to go into Boston for, and at a fraction of the price of a Newbury Street salon. Mindy is my stylist but all the stylists here are great. Become a regular before they get too popular to take new clients.

Hello, I have been going to Ellesentrix Hair Design for over 4 years now. I travel 15 miles just to get my hair cut and styled. The reason is I get the best hairstyle, color, and cut and the service is impeccable. The staff always treats me great with good service and great smiles. They are all pleasant, upbeat people and when you go there it is like being among friends. It's the only hair design center that offers tea or coffee to their customers. How's that for service. I am a man and Ellesentrix was the first place I ever had my hair colored before. This was a big deal for me so I have learned to trust them and they took ten years off me and made me feel younger with the color. They are a good deal. Their prices are reasonable and fair, the shop is very clean, and everything is neat and tidy. Besides having a terrific hair experience, they sell all the essential supplies like shampoos, sprays, creams, and even hair extensions in different colors if you need them. They also do manicures, pedicures, and have a wonderful foot and back massage machine. They are a one stop supply and service for all your hair needs. I would highly recommend Ellesentrix Hair Design and I expect to continue. Micky Lam the owner of the shop has done a good job managing and putting a good professional team together. I expect it will continue that way. My tip of the day is: Try Ellesentrix Hair Design. It's a great experience and I guarantee you will become a customer and a friend.
